![]() A Resounding SuccessThis year's annual Swing into Spring was a resounding success. The black tie dinner dance started at 7.30 and finished around midnight. Over 4 hours of jazz provided by 5 bands culminated in the Big Band performing 3 sets whilst the guests danced the night away. So what were the highlights? The Rev performing Minnie the Moocher was outstanding, but the killer -Joe Oberst Hilliard singing "You can Leave you hat on" was fantastic. Not forgetting of course Caroline Tyka, who left us all blue because sadly she leaves King's at the end of term. Her performance of "Knock on Wood" was stunning, everyone was dancing, even the waiters! My thanks to all those who gave up their time to make Swing into Spring such an amazing night. |
