Our Terms and Conditions of Use Policy.
This website (‘Site‘) is operated by King‘s Bruton (‘we'). The home page can be found at http://www.kingsbruton.com/ . Your access to and use of the Site subject to these terms and conditions (‘Terms ‘). Your use of the Site constitutes your unqualified agreement to accept and comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Site.

1. Your use of the Site

The Site is offered as a free information service for those who wish to find out more about King‘s Bruton and its activities. We use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up to date information on thes Site but errors may nevertheless occur. We cannot give any representation or warranty as to the accuracy of the information and do not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions or for any action or decisions you may take based on the information provided. If the need arises, we may suspend access to the Site, or close it indefinitely.
You use the Site entirely at your own risk and you should not take any action without obtaining specific advice. The information and materials provided on the Site are of a general nature only and cannot be regarded as constituting advice or recommendations. We do not accept any liability for any direct, indirect, special or consequential losses or damages of whatever nature, including but not limited to loss of anticipated savings, data, goodwill or contracts resulting from use of the Site. We also exclude all warranties, express or implied relating to the information and materials on the Site to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or other liability which may not by law be excluded.

If you choose, or you are provided with a password as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms.
When using the Site, you must comply with the provisions of our acceptable use policy set out in paragraph 10 below.

2. Linking to the Site

You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you.
The Site must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of our Site other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice. The website from which you are linking must comply in all respects with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy under clause 10 below.

3. The Site contains hypertext links to third parties websites.

Any hypertext links between the Site and any third party website are provided for your convenience only and we accept no liability whatsoever for the contents of any such third party websites. We exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law all liability that may arise in connection with or as a result of third party website material causing any damage, costs, injury or loss of any kind. We also exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law all liability that may arise in connection with the purchase of any goods via a third party website and in particular your attention is drawn to the fact that contracts for the purchases of school uniform made via the link from the Site are made with School Blazer Limited and are governed by their terms and conditions.

4. Viruses

Whilst we try to keep our anti-virus software up to date we do not warrant that the Site, its servers, downloadable files or e-mails which may be sent by us, are free from viruses or other harmful components. You must not introduce or attempt to introduce any virus or other contaminant to the Site or any of its software or systems or in any way attempt to access, alter, de-compile, reverse engineer, destroy or otherwise tamper with any part of the Site, its software or systems.

5. Trade Marks, Logos and Service Marks

The trade marks, logos and service marks displayed on the Site (whether registered or unregistered) (collectively ‘The Trade Marks‘) are and shall remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing contained on the Site shall be construed as granting any license or right of use any Trade Mark without the prior written consent of the relevant Trade Mark owner. Your misuse or infringement of any of the Trade Marks displayed on the Site is strictly prohibited.

The copyright in all aspects of the Site is owned or licenced by us or our content and technology providers. All content is protected by copyright and may not be used without our prior written consent except as expressly provided in these Terms . We do not warrant or represent that your use of materials displayed on the Site will not infringe the rights of third parties.
You must not copy, adapt, download, exploit or otherwise use the information contained on the Site in any way, save for the purpose of downloading and temporarily storing one or more of the pages of the Site for the purpose of viewing, for your personal use only, on a personal computer or terminal. For the avoidance of doubt you shall not be entitled to reproduce, permanently store or retransmit any of the contents of the Site without our prior written consent except as expressly provided in these Terms.

7. Applications to join King‘s Bruton

These Terms apply only to your use of the Site. If you make an application for you or your child to join King‘s Bruton you will be bound by the documents and procedures which we present to you at that time.

We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. By using the Site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Where the Site provides any feature that allows you to upload material to the Site, or to make contact with other users of the Site, and you may use of that feature, it is a condition of your access to the Site that you comply with our acceptable use policy in clause 10 below.

We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to the Site constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.
We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by you or any other user of the Site.
We have the right to remove any material or posting you make on the Site if, in our opinion, such material does not comply with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy

10. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site

Any material which you contribute to the Site (contributions) must comply with the following content standards. This means it must not:
• contain any material which is defamatory of any person, be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
• promote sexually explicit material or violence;
• promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
• infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person;
• be likely to deceive any person;
• be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person; or
• be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.

11 Suspension and termination

We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of these Terms through your use of the Site. When a breach has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate which may include all or any of the following actions:
• immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the Site.
• immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you to the Site.
• issue of a warning to you.
• legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.
• further legal action against you
• disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.

12. General

We may amend these Terms from time to time. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these Terms may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Site.
